Found this vid of Jimi playing acoustic guitar (one of only two extant recordings). The second of the tunes is I guess of most interest to historians of rock.

By all accounts he was a tremendous acoustic guitarist - oh to have one CD of him playing unplugged! What strikes me is his feel for the blues. At the time in the late 1960s, It never struck me how he was in the process of expanding the electric blues sound. Listening now to his music I realize that he was always primarily a bluesman.

Spotted a new-style pick which wraps around the finger to anchor it. I bought three to try out. Takes some getting used to but could be especially useful for those who've suffered loss of digital dexterity/grip due to strokes or spinal injuries and similar.

I just joined up , and I am happy to be here. I have loved Eastman guitars since about 2008. I bought my first Eastman in around 2008 or 2009. It was an AC320. I have also owned several of the older models(AC420,AC520,E6D, E8D). My favorite was the AC520, but I sold it because the necks on the older models were too slim for me. I love to repair,build, and play acoustic guitars. I look forward to posting and chatting with other members.

I just bought an E2D-CD. Absolutely BOOMS! Now I’m thinking of getting rid of my Martin Streetmaster.

Like, back catalogs, websites, etc.
That have some sort of detailed overview of the company's product line history since the 90's.
Models, lines, years of production, Anything that is informative.
So I can begin to piece together the umbrella view history.
Surely something like that must exist?
Even in pieces from different sources?

I'm finding an amazing Near Zero.
And I'm a guitar researcher by nature, I love researching guitar lines and histories.
I've researched dozens of old guitar companies before.
Including German (and other European) archtops.
Maybe it's all on Chinese websites?
Count me Very Curious as to the extreme lack of information out there.

What ya got, get me started somewhere please!
