I haven't finished these yet , wait on a foil waterslide decal for the telly and the jazz master needs about 5 more coats of lacquer. Had to put them together and play lol.
The telly is a all soild rosewood body and had same for the neck . The neck was 7.25 with really small frets . It now has a warmoth boat neck all rosewood in 24.75. wow wow wow ! The sound is much improved . I was thinking is this neck worth the money ? YES YES YES !!! THE JM is new 2019 and I just didn't like the reach lol , also I wanted to try really big frets . It's also warmoth 24.75 with the largest frets they offer . I really like the frets and the feel . Sound doesn't seem any different really , it was sweet before and still is . The Fender JM neck was half the price of the RW so I would say worth it still .

I am in the market for a rosewood OM and after checking the specs on these 2 Eastman's, the only difference I see is a Sitka or Adi top. Are there any other differences that I'm missing? Thanks!

Reluctantly selling my E10OM-Ltd as I just got a great deal on a Furch Vintage 2 OM-SR that I have wanted for a while. Can't justify having two OM's (to my wife) so unfortunately this great E10OM-Ltd has to find a new home. Purchased new in April 2019 and is in absolute mint condition.

Hello, there. I am new to this group and wanted to know some more about my Eastman PCH1-GACE. My query is about the pickup. The official Eastman website says it is an "Eastman Pickup by Fishman". I wonder if any of you has more information, like specific model and whatnot. Perhaps you might wish to share your experience with this pickup so far. Thanks.

As I mentioned in the hobbies thread, I like to cook. Thankfully, I had good teachers in my mother and grandmother, and one of the ladies across the street was a good cook. I took lots of mental notes when I was a kid, and it didn't take me long to join them in the kitchen trying my hand at putting tasty grub on the table. I used to have a big garden, too - 125 by 50, put up a lot of veggies in the fridge, freezer, and pantry. Kept the family and neighbors in fresh goodies, and donated the rest to the Kansas Food Bank. But water got too high, and my back was too old. Picking green beans for hours just killed me. Let it all go back to grass a couple years ago.

I have a large compliment of pots and pans, knives and so on - also 3 different sized Crockpots. In fact, I got out the middle one this morning and started a recipe called "Crack Chicken", which is basically chicken and veggies with creamed cheese and ranch-flavored herbs and spices. You can add chicken stock and make soup, or leave it thick and spread it on a sandwich or in a tortilla. Also, my little brother in Texas likes to cook, and wins a lot of chili contests using recipes he learned in Kansas (much to the chagrin of native Texans).

I also have a stovetop smoker. It's great for the wintertime - I can still make smoked meats (or whatever) without going outside in the cold. I've smoked veggies, cheeses (not a big success), nuts, and even sea salt as gifts for my foodie buddies. I've developed my own rub over the last couple years - I call it Lucky 13. The last ingredient is ground coffee. Really adds depth to the smoked flavor - and no one has guessed it's in there.

Who else is into preparing yummy comestibles? Check out the pix - one is my meaty chili, and the other is a corned beef I smoked, thus turning it into pastrami....

I thought you guys would be interested in seeing this. We took delivery of the AC108CE-LTD today and Eastman has another winner. If you don't know there were only 100 of these distributed to US dealers. Just for grins we played a PCH-GACE-1 side by side and although the PCH are excellent guitars for what they are the 108 had a much more woody and dimensional sound just as we expected it to. Definitely worth an audition

A milestone b-day, my beloved wanted to get me another guitar. I really didn't think we needed one but who am I to argue?
Long story short, I thought for a big milestone a custom D-18 with Adi-top and GE bracing. We were prepared to maybe spend almost 3k but there aren't any to try out. I tried the Martin Deluxe, didn't do anything for me. I tried out a custom D-18 with VTS sitka, GE adi-bracing, I thought it was the ONE. I was under its' spell until I tried this E10D. So a few weeks later, we went back to try the custom D-18 again and for some reason it didn't have the same effect on me. I left confused but also relieved since it would have set us back 2700.
Went back to the other store, tried out this E10D again, compared it with our D-18, it was different enough. On the plus side, since it's been on the floor for so long they had it marked down! This really did it for me. It's so powerful! It's more punchy and has more overtones than the D-18. Our D-18 seems warmer perhaps, definitely a Martin. They're both 2016 so it's hard to know how much this has opened up since being in the shop but it does sound so full and loud! 
The sales guy talked about his E10D and how he bought it a long time ago and everyone wants to play it. He said this one sounds a lot like his. This shop carries some top of the line stuff including Collings.

Maybe one day I will get the custom D-18 or something way up there in specs but I'd really have to try it out against this because I'm not so sure I'd love something that cost 3 times as much that much more.

I don't know how Eastman does it!
