It arrived today, beautifully packed and in perfect shape, a new E20D-TC from Blues Angel.  My second purchase from them. 

Simply lovely guitar, but you folks already knew that. I almost bought a Martin D-18 but in the end could not justify the cost.  I did buy a stunning Takamine P4DC first; a truly stunning guitar with a to die for amplified tone.  It has a tube preamp inside the guitar. I did not like the neck or the acoustic tone, it ships back for a full refund.

The Eastman is a keeper.  Next will be deciding on a pickup system.

Hello all,
Proud second owner of an Eastman E10D. Boy does it sing. Not so impressed with the Ping machine heads though and looking at changing them out. Guitar is around 3 years old I am told. 
Anyone have experience of changing the pings out for Gotohs and did the bushings need changing or can I just slot the Gotoh SE700s into the Ping Bushings?
Concerned that some had issues changing out the bushings as they were firmly glued in place.

Anyone have a favorite clear pick guard? I have a sunburst OM and don’t want to hide the top at all

This is getting a little ridiculous and no I am not a dealer . Just got the long awaited SB55/v LP Jr. Its amazing, big ole hunky neck just the way I like them. This one is 6.6 lbs so very resonant. Kicks the crap out of the G branded version of this.

I've had an E20-OM for a couple of years. I love it, other than the nut width is just a tad cramped for me. I recently bought an E2-OM cedar top and it feels better. I measured it with the calipers. The E20OM is 1.75" and the E2OM is 1.78". I know that is a minuscule difference, but it's just enough to feel better for me. Maybe they widened the string spacing just a tad? I heard somebody else mention this too, that the newer ones were just a bit wider.

Has anybody else noticed this with the newest guitars to come out? If it is across the board, that'd be good news for me.

I know you all would appreciate this... I think I prefer my e10D to my D18 standard. Both 2016. It may be I'm just not happy with the strings I put on the D18 this go around. I put uncoated Martin Authentic pb mediums. I usually did the old lifespan pb mediums . I wonder if I'm just not liking the new formula.

I also put retro lights on the E10D. Before it seemed too shrill in the high end and more overtones than the D18 with PBs but seems the retros dried up the sound just right.

The fact is, the E10D was always way more responsive and louder than the D18. We'll see. I may end up letting the Martin go and maybe see about an Eastman E10OM-tc. Would love opinions on those. Will the bass be too lacking for me? That is the question.

Anyway, that's my confession. I wouldn't dare post this on AGF. Could just be a string issue. That's entirely possible...

I ordered this guitar about 1 month ago and I posted it then but I didn't have photos. I wanted to wait until I could do a couple of simple enhancements to the appearance. So, here are the photos. I took off the standard pick guard and replaced it with a custom pick guard, added a Jockomo Inlay sticker to the headstock, and replaced the stock strings with Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light (11-52) strings. I know that some folks don't like the stickers but I think this one adds a nice accent.

What's really great about this guitar is THE SOUND! It really sounds like an all-solid-wood OM! IMHO, this guitar's sound is VERY CLOSE in quality to my E8OM or my E10OM and the tone is right between the two. It will make a wonderful travel and campfire guitar. Looks great, plays great, sounds great, what more could anyone want?

Just picked this up. Wow! What a nice guitar. I’ve had a couple of older AC range guitars but the new Eastman offerings are really something. I bought it for my “take anywhere “ guitar but it could easily be my number 1
