Has Eastman raised prices on their traditional series guitars?  I’ve noticed LA Guitars has raised their prices on the OM series guitars.

Hi, Just stopping by to say hi... Picked up my first Eastman a 2020 - AR372CE-BD.. in Blonde..
Been looking for one and found this at Woodstock School of Music. Dave is a great guy and they are about a half hour from my house... I had to make it my own so I replaced the knobs and put pointers on and changed the switch tip..  She plays real nice !   I'm impressed !  - But Today my dealer got in this Black 2020 T486 and I just had to have it - So I returned this one for the T486.. The SD pickups in the 486 are way better than the Kent Armstrong in the AR372CE.. Dave was cool about it at Woodstock School of Music... So out with the old and in with the new... Quite a day for my first post...  Lol..

OK - having nothing better to do I have compiled a list of my eleven best (ok favourite) acoustic guitar songs. Why eleven? Couldn't get it down to 10. Here are a couple pics of my Roscoe LG-3005 five-string bass -- it was originally fretted, but I had my luthier remove the frets. He put in strips of mahogany veneer to replace them, which stand out nicely against the curly maple fretboard, then refinish the neck and set up the guitar.

The last picture is from Roscoe's site: the Roscoe as it originally was, fretted. The color of this was certainly photoshop enhanced, too -- the guitar has some color in the swamp ash, but it's absolutely not as red as that last pic.

Can anyone tell me anything about the Eastman AC410? I can find plenty on the AC412 - but absolutely nothing on the AC410. The guitar dates from 2008, and I have looked in this forum's catalogues without luck.

Gary was referring to the fact that there is very little truly 'new' in guitar design, and how the Eastman Romeo is very similar to the Fret King JE. A while back I almost bought a Fret King 'JE' - although I could fill an aircraft hanger with 'almosts'. After owning the guitar now for just over two months I decided that it had "settled in" and time to set it up to my preference. I mainly flat pick and finger-pick and the guitar was feeling a bit on the "tight" side set at 100 thou and 80 thou with 12-54 strings. Anyway, having little else to do at 6am this morning I decided to get on with it. Set the relief at 8 thou, removed the saddle and sanded off the measured amount aiming for 90 thou bass e and 70 treble e. I left the nut alone as the string height at 1st fret (capo on 3) seemed ok. I achieved just under 90 and around 68 on the treble e with no fret buzz strumming or picking (with and without capo) so was pretty pleased with that. The tone seems brighter with the same strings and volume not noticeably affected. Coming back to the nut, I think the e and b slots are set a fraction low at the factory with a hint of buzz at the first 3 frets but hard to tell really so it don't bother me too much . Just thought I'd share as I'd be interested in opinions for the set ups on other peoples Eastman dreds.

When I received my AC422CE on August 21, 2020, the COA included the (born on) Date, the Model #, Serial #, and "Certified by ___."

For the AC222CE-OV that I received on December 29, 2020, the COA no longer includes the (born on) Date.  It still includes the Model #, Serial # and "Certified by ___".  It now has fields for the dealer to fill in the Dealer name, Price Paid, and Sales Date.  My guitar was drop shipped from Eastman/Pomona, so the dealer part was not filled in.

I am guessing the changes were made so the customer cannot see how long a guitar was laying around in dealer stock.  For example, a customer may question a "new" guitar in dealer stock that was made several years ago, and it may give the customer a bargaining advantage. 

The new COA is printed on a similar colored card stock, although it is thinner stock
