Hello friends, I have been off the forum for awhile but I am happy to announce that yesterday was a NGD for me.

While browsing Reveb last night I saw a mint Eastman E1SS limited CLA for sale for $700. Given the sky rocket prices these days I thought this would be a decent deal for a mint slope shoulder Adi topped dread.

So I decided to make an offer of $600 to the seller and just see what they said. To my surprise they accepted the offer and I am now the owner of the beautiful guitar.

I've gotten to play this model one time in a local shop and I wish I would have bought that one. It's thick warm tone has haunted me since then. But this week I will finally get the guitar I have wanted for several years.

I am currently waiting shipping. I will post about the guitar when it arrives.

Exc condition version of this model, a few light pickguard scratches. I’ve also swapped the original knobs with rosewood knobs (and still have originals). Comes with HSC.

My new Eastman E10ss. Added bone bridge pins and Gotoh SE700 tuners. Don’t know how Eastman does it with their mahogany, but it looks and sounds superb.

I tried out a used 2017 T184MX-CS from a local guitar shop and instantly fell in love. After playing it for a couple months now, I’ve noticed that the neck pickup cover seems to rattle a bit sometimes when playing a little heavier. Almost sounds like a growl when a particular low pitch is met. I think this is happening because the guitar is just so well made and resonant. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Any ideas on the best way to fix? Any suggestions are welcomed! Thanks in advance.

I had a look at Bob Dylan's recent book The Philosophy of Modern Song - I think the title is intended to 'big up' the Nobel laureate's intellectual credentials. The songs he comments on is evidence of his eclectic taste but he doesn't say much which isn't pretty obvious anyway. Bob is not a theorist but he is an artist with a big soul which is better. He was the one who inspired me to buy a guitar not The Beatles. He blew me away. And to my mind the sound of his guitar on those early recordings has  never been bettered.

Thanks to good advice on this forum, replaced my E20 D TC with this E6 OM TC Swiss Alpine. Much more comfortable than the Dred, and it sounds/plays great. Unfortunately these pics do not do it justice.

I have a SW facing office window. With the winter sun lower in the sky it baths the guitar in afternoon sunlight. Today the sun caught my E40OM just right.

I'm in SE PA & have been watching the RH dropping in the room where I keep my E20D TC (BTW for sale) and E6 OM TC. from high 40's. For the last 4 days the RH has been 30, yet the RH in the cases has remained at 50. I admit to being easily entertained, but nice to know the case RH is remaining stable so far without have to add any humidification devices.

i think i know the answer to this one, but want to to check with the learned folk here before i proceed.

i want to add relief to the neck of my ac222, but when i lefty-loosey the truss rod -- and now it's several turns loose, very loose, no resistance at all--  there's no response in the neck: it's still straight. i assume that with a dual action rod, i need to keep loosening until the rod-nut re-engages  --and tightens-- again.
is this right?

i mean, am i correct in assuming that i can't over-loosen a dual-action rod,  completely unscrewing the rod from the nut and damaging the guitar?  (i have re-tightened so that it catches just a little, just to check that i can recover the "tighten" function.)

anyone have similar experiences with these types of adjustments?
