Well I feel like a trader , just picked up two telecasters .
This is the only forum I'm a member of and of course it's because of my love of Eastman . But I'm a lover of anything guitar also . I came across a left handed original custom shop ( 1987 ) telecaster 52 butterscotch in mint condition, it's the 78th guitar the FCS ever built [Image: 1cJuOyI.jpg]
What do I do ? Looking around for a 186 or 84 . Then it gets worse, he will only sell as a set with a rosewood telecaster. I plugged it in but it had the original strings from the 80's still on . Lol the guy said [Image: VYhKLfg.jpg]your not going to change them are you ?
The bad news Now I have to wait to buy my next Eastman . The good news is I brought them home cleaned the frets and installed new strings . Wow it has a sweat clean sound that's unique to my ear . The switch needs to be cleaned but other then that it's great and the action is very low . I'm not done with Eastman's but the next one we'll have to wait lol. Here's a pic of RW haven't set it yet ,to happy playing 52 [Image: vLEEyiY.jpg] the[Image: pda8LY5.jpg]

Eastman AC320 owner looking for a different sound...possibly another Eastman?
Posted by: Pillendreher - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (15)

Hey guys,

I've been part of the Eastman family since 2013 which was when I got my AC320 from a store in the Netherlands for 500 €. I've been playing it regularly ever since then.

A couple of weeks ago I caught some GAS. I really like my AC320 very much, yet I would not say no to another guitar which sounded a tad more clear and brilliant. The AC320 is quite bass heavy.

So I've started touring some local guitar/music stores here in Germany. On one hand I've run into some excellent guitars (the best among those I've played was the Furch D 34 SR - I've never seen anything quite like that mix of strong response to strumming while maintaining a clear and brilliant tone), yet on the other hand the whole experience has also been a bit disappointing. Even though I've probably played 30 to 40 different guitars already, very few of them actually sounded better than my Eastman. Hell, compared to my AC320, the Martin D28 I played yesterday sounded just dull.

Which brings me to my question: Does Eastman offer guitars within my price range (let's say up to 1000 €; if I were to really lose my mind, I guess I'd go as high as 1500 €) that could offer me the sound I'm searching for? Before I bought the AC320, I tested an E6D (because they were somewhat similar), but I haven't played any other Eastmans. I tried the AC322CE yesterday just for fun real quick and it sounded exactly like my AC320.

Any input would be appreciated.

Cheers
