Wanted - Used E10 or 20 00 slot head- not SS
Been looking for months used but nothing about I can find on eBay etc, no shops have used stock that I can see, if any one is looking to sell in the UK for a realistic price I would be interested.

I love Eastman guitars and have four already. When looking at the 486 flame tops and backs I noticed how consistently good they look. I've heard that they spray the flame look (pattern) on some of their violins (I have one of those too). Do they do that with their guitars too? Not that it really matters but I wonder...

I have a couple of HE222CE's and I believe they have nitro finish. Is this true? If so, do they have the problem of reacting to guitar stands? I ask because I am sure over time these things have not been babied but show no sign of stand rash.

I'm the very satisfied owner of a new AC822 FF.  What an amazing sound!  Great instrument.
One minor issue : in my opinion the action can be lower.  Truss tension is good, a gentle bend in the neck.  But the position of the low E string at the 12th fret is slightly higher than the specs from Eastman.  (3,1 mm, Am I right)
The saddle is new of course.  Shall I start sanding it, so that I can win at least 1mm?  Anyone has done this?

I recently purchased a 2017 T59V antiqued finish.  Beautiful guitar but it won't stay in tune.  I see many people very happy with their 59s but I having a hell of a time with mine.  Especially the B and G strings, they almost immediately go out of tune.   Has anyone had this experience with their T59Vs?  Any resolutions?

So, I decided to get the E40D and not the E20D TC. Beautiful guitar! The action is too low however and there is string buzz on the 4th thru 9th frets on the A and D strings. It's not a fret issue. I have fret rockers. I'll make a new saddle at some point. I received it last Thursday so it's not done acclimating yet. I just took some pictures. I've never posted any here before. I'll see if I can do it.
The neck is silky smooth and so nice. Love the tone also. This is not a quiet dread. like my Yamaha A5R is. The color is quite blond. The last photo is without flash and more accurately depicts the color of the top.

I've got a solo gig coming up on Friday, and over the last few months have revamped what I'm doing to be 100% acoustic.  Learned a lot of new songs, and also doing live looping for solos.  It's been fun but a lot of work - especially because I'm not very good.  The title of this post comes from the fact that my two main acoustics have become the Eastman E8D and the Martin 000-15m.  Anyone who has played both can attest to them being completely different in nearly every way.

What's been nice is that there have been several evenings after work where I needed to practice, but was struggling to work up the motivation.  What I ended up doing is if I'd been playing the Eastman more, I'd switch to the Martin, and vice versa.  Without fail I'd end up then practicing for a few hours, just because of the change.  Made things more fresh each time.

It's really made me appreciate that a variety of instruments is more than just fun, it can have a real effect on how much I play.  Not sure why I'm posting other than it really has struck me lately.

New  to the forum and am seriously looking at 2 Eastman models and having a heck of a time deciding.  I know that I want a mahogany back and that I also want a thermo cured spruce top.  I guess I'm getting stuck because I don't have any place near me that has both to try, an OM and a dread.  I've generally preferred the sound/tone of the dread but an OM that I owned previously was much more comfortable to play.   Guess I'm looking to find out if these Eastman OM's can sound as good with being  at least close to the headroom of a dread.  

So down to the E6OM-TC or the E6D-TC, any help or advice is appreciated.

Oh and to make matters more complicated I also found a mahogany  OM Eastwood with a TC Swiss spruce top, ugh, the more I research it the more confused I get.  I'm guessing the dread is probably more of what I'm looking for but would be great to get that sound out of an OM for comfort and maybe slightly better playability.

I can be heavy handed sometimes, love to bang out open chords here and there as well as some stuff with a lighter touch and flat picking.  Rock, blues, also started using a capo more and more as of late.

Edited to add that I'm not necessarily looking for more volume or a "louder" guitar.  I just do enjoy some heavier strumming sometimes and like a good, clear mid range and clarity. Don't want it to get muddy or anything and still sound good if accompanied by vocals
