i have the following two guitars for comparison.
2015 E6OM, scale length 24.9"
2024 E10SS-TC, scal length 24.75"
the guitars are both strung with the same 12-53 gauge strings.
thw stings on the E6OM are way less tight feeling and bend rather easily. The strings on the E10SS are a lot stiffer, and are harder to bend, which to me is puzzling, considering the scale lengths.
The action at the 12th frets on both are close. .080 on the E20SS and maybe .078 on the E6OM.
The nut heights might be a little different. I still am waiting for my tech to get an open slot for me to bring in the E20SS. I haven't measured for relief, but they sight about the same. Maybe a hair more bowed than straight on the E6OM.
Anyone have an idea here? I would think the shorter scale E10 would have more bendability on the strings.
thanks
